The charm of camping with all the comforts of home

Woodman’s Wagon Treehouse

Woodman’s Wagon is a secret treehouse in the heart of Devon.  All on its own in an eight acre woodland is an extraordinary treehouse for two, with views through the treetops and out to sea.  We aim to provide a perfect romantic retreat – where you can kick back, relax and have fun!

Handcrafted by woodsman, Matt Bate, this treehouse offers all the off-grid luxury you’d expect. A one of a kind hand-made Kingsize bed with wonderful views; comfy sofa, woodburning stove, gas rings for cooking and plenty of space.

French doors open on to a large sun deck extending out into the tree tops, where an Indian Firebowl with a BBQ grill can be used for cooking. Chop your own wood, cook over the fire and get back to basics. Slow down and tune into nature.

Its an unforgettable opportunity to get away from the modern world and have a magical woodland adventure, surrounded by wildlife and the natural world.  That’s what makes this treehouse perfect to celebrate a special occasion.

Location

Experience life in a beautiful, wild woodland within a few miles of Exeter and the gorgeous South Devon Coast.  This 8 acre woodland is a rare fragment of ancient woodland set on a ridge between the villages of Kenn and Exminster between the River Exe valley and Haldon Hill.  You may see badgers and deer, hear the hooting of owls and the woodland is carpeted with bluebells during the month of May.  Surrounded by farmland you have no near neighbours and amazing views through the tree tops and out to sea.
